Born from years of North Carolina barbecue tradition, McMasters’ Spicy Hawg Sauce takes the classic Hawg Sauce flavor and turns up the heat.

It still brings together the sweetness and body of a Western-style barbecue sauce with the tangy vinegar character of Eastern Carolina, but with an extra kick that builds as you eat. It’s enough heat to notice without overpowering the sweet, tangy barbecue flavor that made the original a favorite.

Created by Mark McMasters after years of his family running a barbecue restaurant, Hawg Sauce made the leap from restaurant favorite to bottled sauce in 2017.

Today, that family tradition continues — and we’re proud to welcome the spicy side of Hawg Sauce into the Mythical realm as another North Carolina-made product we’ve chosen to carry.

Pour it over pulled pork, chicken, ribs, beef, burgers, hot dogs, or anything else that could use a little Carolina barbecue flavor with some extra fire.
